Svakom Sam Neo 2 vs Sam Neo 2 Pro: which should you buy?
The Sam Neo 2 Pro is the Sam Neo 2 with a heater added. Same suction, same vibration, same app, same size. Here's what that heater is worth to you, and who should skip both.
The short answer
Buy the Sam Neo 2 unless you specifically want warmth. The Pro is the same stroker with a heater that warms up to 38°C, and it costs more. Neither is a good first stroker: start with a manual one.
The verdict
For most people the Sam Neo 2 is the better buy. Going by the makers' own figures, the two share everything that decides how they feel to use: suction and vibration that you set separately, the Extended O setting, the optional Svakom app, the same body and sleeve size, and the same 3-hour charge for about an hour of use. The Pro adds one thing, a heater that warms up to 38°C. Pay for the Pro if warmth is the feature you want and the higher price doesn't bother you. Choose the Sam Neo 2 if you'd rather keep the difference, or if you're buying it as a gift and don't know whether warmth matters to them. If it would be your first stroker, skip both for now.
Side by side
We haven't tested either hands-on, so this comparison uses the makers' own figures. Where a figure isn't given, the table says so rather than guessing. Both listings give the body as 22.8 × 7.5 × 7.5 cm in their size table and 24 cm in their feature list; we've used the size table.
| Stroker | Price | Heat | Size | Sleeve inside | Battery | App | Waterproof | Warranty |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Svakom Sam Neo 2 | £86.99 | No | 22.8 × 7.5 × 7.5 cm | Up to 14 × 4.5 × 4.5 cm | 3-hour charge, about 1 hour of use | Svakom app, optional | Not stated | Not stated |
| Svakom Sam Neo 2 Pro | £113.99 | Up to 38°C | 22.8 × 7.5 × 7.5 cm | Up to 14 × 4.5 × 4.5 cm | 3-hour charge, about 1 hour of use | Svakom app, optional | Not stated | Not stated |
What's the same on both
- Suction and vibration that work independently, so you can run one, the other or both.
- The Extended O setting, which lowers the intensity when you want to slow down.
- The Svakom app, for extra settings and partner options, including control from a distance. It's optional: you don't need it to use either one.
- The same size: 22.8 × 7.5 × 7.5 cm outside, with the sleeve's inside measuring up to 14 × 4.5 × 4.5 cm.
- USB charging: 3 hours for about an hour of use, with a battery indicator.
- A travel lock, so it can't switch itself on in a bag.
- No warranty is stated in either listing, so we don't quote one. If yours arrives faulty, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we'll refund or replace it.
What the Pro adds: warmth up to 38°C
The heater is the only difference either listing gives. It warms the sleeve to a maximum of 38°C, so it feels warm rather than room temperature. A sleeve feels more natural warm, which is why our guide to using a stroker tells you to warm it first. The Pro does that part for you.
What the listings don't say: how long the heater takes to warm up, or whether using it shortens the battery. Both models are listed with the same 3-hour charge for about an hour of use, so we can't tell you if the heater changes that.
The Pro also costs more. The table above shows today's prices.
Who should skip each
- Skip the Pro if warmth isn't a must. The Sam Neo 2 does everything else for less.
- Skip the Sam Neo 2 if you already know you want warmth. You can't add a heater later.
- Skip both if it would be your first stroker. Start with a manual cup such as the Rev-Air Light, find out what you like, then move up.
- Skip both if you'd rather not charge anything, or want something for the shower. Neither listing says it's waterproof, so keep both away from water.
- Skip both if you want a stroker that moves on its own. These use suction and vibration; for thrusting, look at the Rev thrusting and vibrating stroker.
Using and cleaning either one
- Use a water-based lube. It's safe with every sleeve material, and silicone lube can damage silicone and TPE sleeves.
- Follow the cleaning steps in the instructions in the box. Neither listing says whether the sleeve is removable or whether the body can get wet, so don't guess.
- Let everything dry fully before you put it away, and charge it before you next need it.
- Our guide on how to use a stroker covers lube, cleaning and storage in more detail.
Which to choose
Choose the Sam Neo 2 if you want suction and vibration with optional app control, and a sleeve at room temperature doesn't bother you. Choose the Sam Neo 2 Pro if warmth is worth the extra money to you. It's the same stroker either way: going by the listings, the heater is the only thing the extra pays for.
