Strokers

A stroker is a soft sleeve you use instead of your hand. The inside is textured, the material warms up to body temperature, and with lube it feels closer to the real thing than anything else here. Start with a manual one. Move to powered once you know what you like.

Buying guide

Manual strokers are the cheapest way in and there's nothing to charge. Vibrating ones add a motor near the head. Hands-free models grip and move on their own, and cost more because of it.

Most sleeves are TPE or silicone. Both are body-safe when made properly. TPE is softer and slightly porous, so it needs a full clean and dry after every use.

Getting started

Warm it under the tap, add water-based lube inside and on yourself, and start slow. More lube fixes most problems.

Care

Rinse with warm water and toy cleaner, then let it air-dry fully before you put it away. A dusting of renewal powder keeps TPE from going tacky.

Questions

Which stroker should I start with?

A manual, open-ended sleeve. It's easy to clean and cheap enough that you won't mind if the texture isn't for you.

What lube should I use?

Water-based. Silicone lube can damage TPE and silicone sleeves. Oil-based lube is harder to wash out.

How long does a stroker last?

Looked after properly, a good one lasts a year or more. Replace it if the material tears, stays sticky or won't come clean.
