Lube makes everything better and there's no good reason to skip it. Water-based works with every toy and washes off easily. Silicone lasts longer and works in water, but it can damage silicone toys. Toy cleaner keeps everything else in this shop in good shape.

Buying guide

Water-based lube is the all-rounder: toy-safe, condom-safe and easy to clean up. It dries out faster, so reapply as you go.

Silicone lube lasts much longer and is good in the shower, but keep it away from silicone toys. Oil-based lube breaks down latex condoms.

Use more than you think you need, and reapply before things start to drag.

Care

Keep lube capped and out of direct sunlight. Most bottles are best used within a year of opening.

Which lube works with toys?

Water-based works with all of them. Avoid silicone lube with silicone toys.

Is lube condom-safe?

Water-based and silicone-based lubes are safe with latex condoms. Oil-based lubes are not.

Do I really need toy cleaner?

Mild soap and warm water work for most toys. Toy cleaner is quicker and gentler on soft materials.
